Who can stay at TRIANGLE Residences?
TRIANGLE Residences accept students from the University of Nicosia from any part of the world. In addition, if you are over 16 years old and you are enrolled at the University of Nicosia as a part-time or full-time student, you can apply for accommodation.
How far in advance do I need to book?
As soon as you’ve confirmed your place at the university, we recommend you to proceed to booking. Your place at the Residences is guaranteed only when you provide us with the necessary documentation and proceed with the deposit payment.
What documents do I need to submit?
During booking process we ask you to provide us with the following documents:
- A copy of your I.D./passport.
- A copy of your student card/your letter of enrollment from university/ your letter of acceptance from university.
- A copy of a utility bill as a proof of your home address.
- A copy of your guarantor’s I.D/passport.
- A copy of a utility bill under your guarantor’s name as a proof of his/her home address.
Can I view the room?
If you like to see our premises and the different room types in person, we are happy to take you for a tour. Please contact us to arrange a tour for you.
Are TRIANGLE Residences secure?
Each site of the buildings is covered by CCTV with staff present 24 hours a day.
Can I bring my bike?
You are allowed to bring your bike – free bike racks are available on designated areas where it is safe to place your bike.
Can I bring my car?
Underground car parking is available – please inform the Reception operators upon your arrival to enable access to you. (Please present a Legal stamped document where your plate’s numbers are written).
Can I bring pets?
No, pets are not allowed at the Residences so please do not bring any animals of any sort. Although, assistance dogs are permitted subject to the prior obtainment of a written relevant authorization from the Landlord.
Can I have overnight guests?
We want you to consider your UNIC Residences room as your home and are happy for you to have guests to stay occasionally. All we ask is that you let the Reception team know and that you consider your other flatmates and treat them with courtesy. You are responsible for any guests that you have staying with you and are liable if they cause any problems.
Should I bring my own appliances?
Our full list of appliances can be found here. Feel free to bring your own kettle, panini grill, toaster, iron, etc.
Can I move out early?
You can move out whenever you are ready but the contract you have with the Residences is a Fixed Term Tenancy Agreement and you will still need to pay the full rent until the end of the Agreement. In exceptional circumstances, the Management may decide to grant an early release from the tenancy.
Do I need to clean my accommodation when I move out?
Please make sure your accommodation is clean to avoid any cleaning charges.
Do you have laundry facilities?
Our residences have a laundry room where you can wash and dry your clothes. You will need to pay to use the machines.
Do you provide bedding?
A Welcome package can be offered upon an order – please find more details by following this link. Although, you are able to bring your own sheets, duvet, pillows, towels etc. when you move in.
Is the use of drugs allowed?
Drugs are not permitted and prohibited items will be confiscated.
How do I book?
Booking online is quick and easy – it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes.

How do I get my post / mail?
Your post will be delivered to the Reception. You will be notified if Reception receive an item for you, and you should collect it as soon as possible.
How much does it cost to live at the Residences?
Prices vary according to type of accommodation you need – please check the property page and see the current prices.
Is there internet access on site?
Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the building at no extra charge. Please ask about your personal username and password upon the Check-In process.
What happens if I need to make a complaint?
Please speak to our Reception staff. They will take details of your complaint and seek to find a solution. If you remain unhappy with the solution you may seek to have a personal meeting with our Operational Manager.
When are my instalments due?
Upon your booking you will select the payment plan you would like to follow. We offer up to three installments spread out throughout the year to make the payments more manageable for you. Please contact our Accounts Department for any clarification.
Will my flat be cleaned?
You are responsible for keeping your own space clean. It’s our responsibility to keep the common areas like the social spaces, reception and laundry clean. In addition, paid Housekeeping service is provided upon request. Please contact the Reception to book your appointment.
Is food and drink available on site?
There is a Mini Market and a Coffee shop located just outside the SIX building and vending machines are also provided where you can buy chocolate, crisps, drinks and other snacks.
Do I have to be home by a certain time each night?
No, it’s up to you when you come in. If returning late at night, please respect your fellow residents and keep noise to a minimum.
What Facilities are offered?
We are happy to make your free time count – our building has TV room, Playing area, Study room and a Gym.
Are the Restaurants, Cafes, Pool Bar and Shops operated by UNIC Residences and are they included in my contract?
The restaurants and retail establishments within the UNIC Residences are operated by 3rd party restaurant operators. These operators might change over time, may or may not be in operation at any given point in time and all photos and renderings of the restaurants are illustrative. In particular, the swimming pool at Six is part of the 12th floor retail unit, is not yet in operation and its hours of operation will be dependent on those of the restaurant and its policies. As of summer 2019, the restaurant units at U and the 12th floor restaurant unit at SIX are still under development. All services at these establishments are separate from the monthly room rental fee.
What does my rent include?
Your rent includes – electricity, water, internet, common expenses and facilities on site.
Is there air conditioning?
Each room has its own independent air condition unit.
